About us

Travelwise Chiang Mai (aka Chiang Mai Journey) is a tour operator (B2B) & travel agency (B2C) that specializes in inbound tours in the regions of Northern, Thailand. We are based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

We are fully licensed and bonded with the TAT (Tourist Authority of Thailand License No. 24/00860) to sell our travel products and accept online payments. During a tour/package booked with us, all participants are insured with Travel Accident Insurance or Car Accident Insurance.

Travelwise Chiang Mai is founded by a Thailand local travel expert (Siri), a travel magazine editor (Brianny) & a U.S. travel business owner (Manda). We love this country and wish to share all it has to offer in a unique and exciting way.

We began offering Chiang Mai travel services in 2016 and have gradually grown over the years. Prior to creating Travelwise Chiang Mai, we all worked in the travel industry for 10+ years.
